Three Suspects Arrested In Connection With Boston Boutique Armed Robbery

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Three people were arrested and a fourth remains at large in connection with an armed robbery that took place in downtown Boston Friday evening.

Boston police said shortly before 6:00 p.m., officers responded to a call for an armed robbery in progress at Audemars Piguet Boutique Boston on Boylston Street.

According to police, three to four suspects were seen breaking into the business with hammers, robbed the store, and fled in a vehicle. The vehicle was apprehended at Tremont Street and Boylston Street and three of the suspects were arrested. The fourth suspect fled on foot towards Stuart Street, but was not located, police said.

Inside the recovered vehicle, officers found a high-end watch still in its original box, a small sledge hammer, and a firearm from one of the suspects, police said. No injuries were reported.

The three arrested suspects were identified as Akari Cummings, 21, of Dorchester, Jaydrian Diaz, 20, of Jamaica Plain, and Isiah McPherson, 21, of Boston. All three are expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court.
