Bicyclist Dies After Being Hit By Truck Near Symphony Hall

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A bicyclist that was hospitalized after getting hit by a dump truck in Boston on Wednesday has died, police said.

The crash was reported around 12:09 p.m. at the intersection of Massachusetts and Huntington avenues near Symphony Hall.

The bicyclist, an adult male, was conscious and taken to an area hospital with serious injuries, where he later died. His identity has not been released.

The driver of the truck involved in the crash stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police said. The driver is not facing charges at this time.
