BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Officials from Gov. Charlie Baker's office say the state is planning to re-open a vaccination clinic at Fenway Park. An Executive Office of Health and Human Services Spokesperson told WBZ NewsRadio on Wednesday afternoon that the Baker-Polito administrations is "finalizing plans to hold a high-throughput booster clinic at Fenway Park," in partnership with the Red Sox.

The official said the clinic is expected to open in January.

The last clinic at the storied ballpark gave out more than 56,000 shots, according to then-vendor and operator CIC Health. The site opened up on February 1 this year, and closed down on March 27. A spokeswoman for CIC did not comment on whether the company would be involved in this latest Fenway clinic.
