House of Horrors Blackstone Trial Erika Murray

WORCESTER, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Blackstone “House of Horrors” trial has entered its second week at Worcester Superior Court. Erika Murray is facing two counts of murder and multiple counts of child neglect.

In 2014, two dead babies and one unborn child were found by police in the home after a neighbor called 911. She was accused of keeping her children in a house of filth and squalor.

Murray’s defense attorney maintains his client is sick and that anything she has done is the result of mental illness, not criminal activity.

WBZ NewsRadio’s Karyn Regal recounted what has happened so far in the trial, and what we know about the case.
